- 3 green Bell Pepper
- 3 Red Bell Pepper
- 250 gm minced meat
- 8 clove garlic chopped finely
- 1 inch ginger grated
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 medium onion chopped finely
- 1 large onion chopped finely
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- Salt to taste
- 3 tbsp olive oil (or any cooking oil)
Its a Spanish Recipe.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a non-stick frying pan and fry the onions till golden brown. Now add the ginger and garlic, saute for a minute and add the tomato, vinegar and red chilli powder. Cook on medium heat for another 2 minutes. Now add the miced meat, cinnamon powder and salt. Cook for 5 minutes and add 1 cup water and stir fry still all the water evaporates. Off the stove and let it cool.
Cut the top of the bell peppers. Prick the bell peppers with a fork slightly in all sides. Now stuff the bell pepper with the minced meat mix. Grease the bell peppers with the remaining oil with a brush. Top the bell peppers with shredded chese.
Pre-heat oven to 375°F. Now take a oven safe baking dish and arrange the stuffed bell peppers on it. Put it inside the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
Your stuffed bell peppers are done. Serve hot with some more shredded cheese over each of them.
